We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our client within the Oil & Energy / Marine sector. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the industry, identifying their needs and proposing customized solutions based on our products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to confidently communicate with both clients and internal teams.

LOCATION: Great Yarmouth
START: Immediately
SALARY: Dependent on Experience
TERM: Permanent / Full-Time
HOLIDAYS: 28 Days (inc. Public Holidays)

HOURS: Monday to Friday / 40 Hours per week


  • Develop and manage relationships with existing and potential customers in the oil & energy / marine sector
  • Identify customer needs and work with technical teams to propose suitable solutions
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor market trends and report on sales opportunities and customer feedback
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to promote our company and products
  • Working in close liaison with the group's global bases, to ensure efficient provision of company assets to meet clients needs and using the company asset tracking system


  • Proven track record in marine technology sales/rentals or relevant background in offshore survey and or ROV operations
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or business development in the Oil & Energy industry
  • Knowledge of industry standard survey equipment and instrumentation from other manufacturers; EdgeTech, Sonardyne, iXBlue, Kongsberg, Tritech, Teledyne, Valeport
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of industry trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Availability for occasional business travel.
